I said it all before

January 21, 2006 I wrote a little something in
a little blog I used to keep elsewhere on the internets.
Today I needed to google something that I wrote back
then. It was election time in Canada and we had the lowest
voter turn out. Ever. Which makes my stomach turn.
I will quote myself, "My normally inventive brain has been shut right down over worries that Stephen Harper and Co. may form a majority government--shoot me now! My wealthy friends seem to be quite happy about this possibility. Some, however, paled as I reminded them that there were probably wealthy WASPS in Germany in the late 1930's who said something like, "well, I know that Hitler and the Nazis are a little bit to the right and have some funny views on Homosexuals and Jews, but this is Germany--we have far too many checks and balances for them to do anything really harmful."
This hold true today even more than 2 years ago.

the fact that ever more Canadians are becoming
aware of this Harper situation more and more
daily right now!
