I love Muse in Kensington.
The last few times I went
the staff has changed dramatically.
I miss the old staff... what happened
to the old staff of Muse? Where did
they go?
Word on the street is they opened
their own place - anyone know?

Stampede happened without fail
this year and I was untouched
by the rigor mortised hand of what
made Calgary, Calgary. The Stampede.
Flash forward a few days -- I had one friend
mad at me for one thing, then a day later
another friend mad as well.
I figure as long as I still like me, it can't
be all that bad.
And before you ask, one fight was due to
a friend being ignorant to my needs
and the other friend was ignorant to
my needs as well. I am really not that needy.
(he says quite needfully)

Anywho, with bad self image in my brain
I decided I needed to lose some weight.
Did you know I was eating about 4000 cals
a day? holy fat fag! no one likes a fat fag, and
no one licks a fat fag either.
So that came to a screeching halt, now I am at about 2000
a day. I've lost a shit load of weight. *yaay me*

Today I got my other nipple pierced. It went so smoothly,
not at all like how I remembered it when I had my first
one done 11 years ago. 11 years ago my friend, let's call her
Becca so she can remain anonymous, and I were terribly
bored. We called her brother for an idea of what to do.
He said to go get something pierced -- so we did. Or should I
say, I did. Wheels and Caitlin were never as spontaneous as us.

ANYWHO,
I also picked up a treadmill this weekend for my dog.
Italian Greyhounds like to run, who knew?

The price of Rice

Holy moly. I filled up today and stopped at this price. I had a moment
when I was filling the tank, about being a kid and collecting glasses
from gas stations but you had to put in 25 bucks. Sometimes it was
hard to do that, you'd have to go in on fumes in order to get 25
dollars in the tank. I wonder what happened to those glasses. I wonder
what happened to those prices. Yikers.

Guy walks into pole.

During Stampede all the idiots come out of hiding. This guy here
walked into that 'no parking' sign. It was the 3rd ambulance that
arrived to some sort of 'idiotic behaviour' on that exact corner. Yee
haw. Giddy up losers.

Not-Nigella's Chocolate IceCream Peanut Butter Buster Parfait
(a.k.a. Connie's birthday cake)

1.89 l Safeway Select Chocolate Icecream (125 ml= 150 cals)
12 Reese Peanut Butter Cups and chopped into chunks (3 cups = 280 cals)
300 g PastyPie Double Chocolate Mini GlutenFree Brownies chopped into chunks (120 cals = 30 g)
230 g Reese Bites (45g = 220 Cals)
300 g Reese Peanut Butter Chips (15 mls = 80 cals)
6 oz Honey Roasted peanuts (900 cals total)
3 oz container of Presidents Choice Dark Chocolate Sauce (30 ml= 130 cals)
4 oz Hersheys chocolate sundae syrup (30 ml = 100 cals)

So mix almost everything together with your KitchenAid mixer
and pour into a springform pan and the rest of everything to
the top and stick in the freezer...

serves one
