I am off to Minneapolis early in the morning. I used
to go there quite often as it was a hop a skip and a
jump away. (2 hr flight and usually a cheap flight)
I am going with about 12 other people that I work with
and usually as a well seasoned traveler I would be the
one to look after 'the kids' who hadn't traveled much.
Not this time. Not last time. Not next time. It feels
so amazing to wish the girl with the criminal record
good luck and that I'd see her by the boarding gate
when she got across. I have learned to say no and
not to offer assistance. If you stick with me I'll
show you the ropes. If you are letting your mind
wander around this planet, I can't help you. Sorry.
With that rant out of the way... funny story I had
yesterday about blueberry cheesecake lube. No wait,
you so don't wanna hear it. It's involves a girl and
a guy having sex, trying out this lube. Flash forward
3 hours later they are out for dinner with family
and the mom says that she can smell blueberry cheesecake
and goes on about how she would LOVE that for dessert.
Girl and boyfriend shrink in their seats holding back
the laughter. See, lame story, I told ya... but the girl
who told me about the story is the kind of girl that
is very proper and she actually was telling me about
this other expensive lube that she uses 'for other stuff'
and I burst out laughing because thats the stuff WE use.
Gun Oil Silicon. s'nice!

screw you guys, i'm going home
This morning I flew from Regina to Calgary.
The last few days felt like I was in that
movie "Ground Hog's Day" Things never change
in Regina. The city itself wants to but the
people never do. That is kind of 'home' or
where you grew up, and then one day you go
back and you want it to be the same, but it
never will be again.
While I was at the airport all I could think
about was Cartman's voice saying, "Screw you
guys! I'm going home"
So wonderful to be with my boyfriend and dog
and condo. Where I really belong.
